New Best Bottom Diaper Fuels My Cloth Diaper Addiction

Just today, I learned from my favorite cloth diaper dealer store Cozy Bums that there’s a new Best Bottom diaper coming out.  Up until this point, I’ve been mildly curious about a Best Bottom diaper… but I’d yet to see a pattern or color that I just had to have.  Of course, because of the nature of my cloth diaper addiction, I’m constantly curious about new fluff.  I was getting more curious by the day, but I was also mindful about the ridiculous size of my stash, my husband’s wish for me to stop buying cloth diapers, and a host of other things that document my cloth diaper addiction.

Of course, my friend Heather over at the Parenting Patch constantly telling me how she loves her Best Bottom diaper stash wasn’t helping, either.  But still, there was that whole “well, there’s nothing that I absolutely have to have, so I can restrain myself from buying new diapers.”

Until now.

A couple of hours ago, Best Bottom diaper company announced a new pattern: the Cookie Monster diaper.

I saw it and was more than a little bit tempted.

Okay, fine.  I was a lot tempted.  I want.  Or, to use the immortal words of Cookie Monster, “Me want COOKIE!!!”

Sure, there are things that got me interested before.  Like the fact that you can just change inserts and continue to use the same shell (which is my favorite thing about Flip diapers and GroVia hybrids).  The thing that held me back was, again, the awareness that I really don’t need to grow my cloth diaper stash.  So, why now?  Why this diaper?

I’m not sure if it’s the color (love that blue!) and the trim combo, or if it’s the name.  (Norton loves the Cookie Monster.)  But regardless of what it is that’s really sparked my interest in the Cookie Monster Best Bottom diaper, I’m definitely interested.
